My work has appeared in the New York Times, WIRED, Brevity, Pithead Chapel, and Redivider, among others. My essay “You Will Find Me In The Starred Sky” was named a Best American Essays 2017 notable. I received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of Montana. I now reside in Missoula, Montana where I play music for kicks and sometimes moonlight as a standup comic. I live and write on Séliš and Qlispé land with my husband, two children, a bunch of extra instruments I don’t know how to play, and a revolving cast of quirky animals.
